FRIDA network upgrade

    We are planning a major and longer maintenance on FRIDA. During this time the cluster will be unavailable, as we will be upgrading the cluster's network and storage. A maintenance reservation is already in place. The cluster will continue processing jobs that are scheduled to finish before the maintenance start time. Once the maintenance starts all active and pending jobs will be cancelled and all queues cleared.

    We're putting the cluster in maintenance mode, due to an intervention on the main power lines scheduled for 3. 2. 2026, 3:00 - 7:00. Since during this the cluster will rely entirely on UPS, we are doing so to prevent undesired outages. Plan jour jobs accordingly.
